South Branch slab is soon to be poured!

Until now, much of the work done on the South Branch site has been hard to see - once the building was taken down, the site had to be cleared and the soil compacted and otherwise made fit to carry our brand new building.  With that work now completed, visible activity is picking up!  Standing at the front of the building, looking from left to right (or facing north and looking from west to east), we can see:

You can see a brand new wall concrete wall; the wood framing is in preparation for the slab.

Looking north towards what will be the front entrance, you can see how the two sections of the building (one consisting primarily of the community meeting room, the other of the main library functions, including the Tool Library) will connect.
Looking toward the back right (or northeast) corner, you can get a sense of the size of the space, which utilizes what used to be a driveway and staff parking.
