Full Disclosure: your blog editor worked for years in the old West Branch, and while not without charm, the prospect of a zero-net energy library designed to serve the West Branch neighborhood is, well, thrilling. So I was very excited to take a few minutes to watch the demolition machine at work this morning. For safety reasons, I needed to stay well away from where the work was happening; these images were taken from under the adjacent hotel's awning.
